Hopefully we will be cheering the mighty Wire onto another famous win, but should we loose I for one will be staying to cheer the team around the pitch after the presentations rather than leaving early or @ the full time whistle.

I will still be there if we lose to thank the players for their effort in the cup this year and to clap the leeds players when they pass our end. But hopefully this situation will not happen and we can be singing along to hi ho silver

I will second that. I'll also be at the Town Hall on Sunday afternoon win or lose.

My train home isn't 'til 8.20pm so I'll be in no rush but whatever time anyone else wants to leave is entirely up to them.

Lets hope both teams stay on the pitch to watch the trophy presentation unlike the disrespectful Stains side who have trudged off down to the dressing room before the presentation has even occured, for the last 3 Octobers.

You try going to the same final and losing it three times on the bounce to the same team and see if you are feeling all high and mighty then.

My hunch is, you probably wouldn't have even turned up for the third effort.

Of course they would turn up. They are professionals and get paid to play. That's a bit of a silly thing to say.

Not only would they turn up, they would conduct themselves much better than saints.

Its a matter of decency and respect from the Saints players to stay out and watch the trophy presentation and hear what the winning captain has to say.

But this doesn't happen when you're Saints though, they trudge off down the tunnel with faces like smacked bottoms.

i suffered numerous semi final/ final losses to the pie in the 80/90's never once did i contemplate not going!
