TS saying we will cope win or lose. Homecoming win or lose. Posts on here and Guardian just saying proud to be a Wire and to get there irrespective of result.

Surely there must be some, like me, who will be gutted if we lose? Got a horrible feeling that the Leeds' players and fans want it more.

I hate all this homecoming if we lose business. It creates the impression that we are a small time club savouring our once in a lifetime chance to get to Wembley and knowing that in reality, we have got no chance when we come up against the big boys.

I wonder if Wigan, Saints or Leeds would have a big homecoming for the beaten finalists? In fact would Hull? Maybe we are more a club like Huddersfield or Catalans, it's just nice to have the day out for the supporters.

After we won the Challenge Cup last year, the achievement of being a beaten finalist doesn't seem like a massive one any more. I will be very disappointed if we lose, because its so rare that you get the opportunity to get to a final. Who knows when we will get another chance? This is, if we are honest with ourselves, our chance of silverware this season, if we lose on Saturday then we won't make Old Trafford, not this year.

win or lose , its a great achievement , and a home coming parade is our chance as fans to say well done , its been a great season and lets hope theres more to come . it matters a lot to me,it's my little lads 7th birthday on saturday and a victory will make it truly a day to remember,if we lose it will tarnish my little best mates day and make the journey home feel slightly longer.

Me too, and its one of the reasons I'm not that excited this year. If anything I'm dreading going to Wembley with the anticipation that we'll lose.

Means everthing. The squad has put everything in to the cup run this year and so have the fans. I don't think there are any other teams who want this as badly as us and Leeds. I cannot call it though.

Sunday has the potential to be a huge anti climax and I was around in 1975 so I believe I know what I am talking about.

Winners are grinners they say and never was a truer word spoken.

I think everyone will be gutted. Tony Smith is not going to come out and say if we lose we will feel destroyed and it will effect the rest of our season. This is not the only trophy we have a chance of winning so he will need to make sure the players are prepared to pick themselves up if we do not win on saturday and have a good play off campaign.

This is exactly why we have to think after Wembley and get away from past under achievement.
