| Sorry if it's been mentioned before but does anyone know why its shut down. Went for a pint before the Saints game as normal and it was closed and boarded up.
If it has shut down the club should snap it up for a supporters club pub. It would make a fortune. Just an idea.  |

Good idea. Apparently the last owners shut it down because it was making too much money.

the bloke who owns the actual building has sold it to a property developer at auction, th former owner wouldnt spend any money on it there are major problems with the roof and damp and i have heared it will not be re opening as a pub the former land lord has now got the three pigeons and its £2.50 a pint of forster and carling and they have smarten the place up

I'm taking Cameruin's advice and buying it as part of my contribution to The Big Society. I can't decide whether to re-open it as a Free School or a Day Centre for the Terminally Miserable.

Cutting out the cancerous, needy, job creationist rump of the public sector, telling it how it is to the disingenuous Pakistani government, giving choice and decisions back to the people, nice last 1/4 economic growth too. Looks like the coalition will go the distance afterall (obviously Cable will spit his dummy out soon and spend the rest of his time regretting it in the wilderness). Nevertheless I can't wait for you to elect Abbott. You are as unelectable now as you were with Foot. It's 1979 again. Halcyon days.  |

Lib Dems will continue to support Tories for as long as labour are perceived to be unelectable. Pulling the plug any sooner will liklely lead to Tory Majority. Whilst I agree with some of the tory cuts and still cant get my head around the fact the all through the election to Torys public announcements on policy were "the other lot is rubbish".
Although I do wonder just how good "business men" policticians are ...(dont answer that I know they are crap)... in that it take the country to be nearly bankrupt before they start saving millions by cutting wastage. Why werent they cutting the wastage when we were doing well. Seems a no-brainer to me!
