| I must admit I've not been paying much attention to Warrington's season. I'm just interested as to how you lot see Matt King at the moment? What kind of season has he had?
I remember the last time he got a drastic hair cut for charity he seemed to go through a crisis of confidence after a good spell following his initial failure to settle.
The lad got some real quality ball out there today against an inexperienced centre in Francis Meli and his failure to capitalise was probably the main reason you lost that game. He seemed to have no faith in his own ability to score, always looking to pass and seeming reluctant at times to go at the line. He also seemed to out and out panic for the pass to Myler. Was today just a blip?

| He broke the line twice today in the dying moments to give us vital fild posistion. Just because he knocked on he's crap? Wouldn't swap him for nobody else in Super League.

No one said he was crap. I asked how he'd been this season as he seemed to be lacking confidence when it came to the decisive moments in the game today.

| He's been brilliant throughout. I don't think he was as bad as you're saying. Broke the line twice when we were in deseparate need to get down the Saints end late on, he just had no support. Great support play to back up Monas' break also.

| I thought he had a very poor game personally, wasn't it him that through the ball past the winger and out of play a couple of times? Once was Anderson but I though a couple more were king.

Nope, just the once, and that was because Hicks changed his angle of run at the very last second The other was Briers, which was just plain poor.
He looked pretty dangerous did King for the most part, the pass to Myler was unlucky as they just got too close to each other. On another day (most likely against another team) all those little things that went wrong would have stuck and we'd have romped home.
King's been awesome all season - and all those 'goons who say Carmont's better; reel your necks in

| Hmm interesting. King has been great for most of the season, but as soon as he has a poor game (by his standards) against Saints, a Saint Helens fans posts asking us what we think about his performances this season.
Sly dig alert, methinks.

Not at all. If I wanted to have a dig I'd have done it. I just wondered how he'd played this season. I've only watched Warrington a handful of times this year.

Seriously ? For someone who claims not to be paying too much attention to our season your never off this board. Obsessed.

| For me King has been outstanding this season, but last night he was a bit mixed.
Great taking the ball up particularly close to our own line, but he bombed a few chances which normally he would have taken or put other people in for a try.

| He was easily the best centre on display last night, awhat he didn't do was find the way to finish off his good work. In terms of contribution, breaks, yards, he was fantastic.

| You can't say he didn't give 100% as always, he was heartbroken at the end! He's had a superb player and was better than a lot of players on the field last night.

| As a neutral I'd have to say he's been fantastic this season whenever I've seen him. Even allowing for a couple of mistakes last night, he still looked the player mostly likely to win the game for Warrington.
