Each week i look in the league express and see the small table and think why are none of our players near the top so just had a look at the full table to see what position they are in. Below is the top 15 in the table.

IMO this table shows how certain teams relie on certain players to win games such as salford have Holdsworth on 17 points but the next salford player is Fitzpatrick on 6 points and castleford who have Chase on 16points and then Widders on 6 points. So without this one player in the team there chances of winning will be low.

When you look at the top 4 in this leaderboard for warrington and wigan you can see that they are closer together which means they can relie on 3 or 4 players to come up with a match winning performance which could be a reason for us being 1st and 2nd in league throughout this season.

youane pointed this out the other week, there's a bizarre sympathetic scoring method inplace for this down to the madness or sanity of the report writer,

eg the crusaders game, aside from a couple of brainfarts we pretty much dominated that,

monas got 3 points
someone else from us got 1

but jarrod wotsit got 2 points, despite starting on the bench coming on halfway through the game and running about and looking busy, despite not actually creating anything or causing us any problems.

Points given out by part time hacks some of whom haven't a clue. Nice award to get but fairly meaningless.

It does seem quite subjective and arbitary, this week for instance Catalans players get all the points despite only beating wire by one point. It also makes me laugh how Sam Burgess gets man of the match virtually every week for the rabbits, I've watched a fair few of the games on MSK and although he's done well, this is just ridiculous.

Did you go to the game? Believe me, all 17 Catalan players were better than any of ours.

I noticed this, too. Few years ago, Monas was near the top of the table for ages IIRC, certainly our leading scorer. I think that if anything, it shows how unreliant we are on one individual and how the whole team is contributing more.

yeah that's what i was tryna to point out that come play offs time in the "big games" when you need someone to step up we don't relie on say briers like we have in previous years to do everything with monaghan and king now having big says in the games
