| Watching as a neutral (only just) i have to say that Lee has given wonderful service to Warrington and continues to put in some great performances for your lot and tonight was no different. I have always enjoyed watching him and its such a shame that he's never managed to fully display his talents on the international scene. You can talk about Cunningham at Saints but Lee has been just as important for Warrington and often doesnt get the respect he deserves.

Couldn't agree more and to think there have been a fair few Wire fans that have rubbished Lee over the years..
Excellent servant and a fantastic player,as for the international scene he has never been given a chance period....!!!

| Briers is a national treasure and it will take a brave man to put him out to pasture.

You are a breath of fresh air. Spot on in what you are saying. The guy will go down in legendary status at Warringon whether some fans like it or not. And rightly so. I'm just so glad he is now part of what is a real team, and a real club because he has seen it all at Warrington, and he deserves to be in this team now more than anyone. Hero.
Good luck for today too. I'd love nothing more to see Cullen lift another trophy with Widnes, he deserves it.

I think its fair to say that since Tony Smiths arrival Lee Briers has learned to respect himself and the talent he has. The benefits of that are he now has a Challenge Cup Winners medal and an obvious hunger for more. He's always been a a great 'Conductor' and now he's got the 'Orchestra' around him to show that. Mind you he'll need them to take a bit less time to warm up than tonight if he's going to add to his medal!
