You know sport has a wierd habit of throwing out fixtures like Whitehaven v Widnes at times like this. If ever there was a time for the fans of both those great clubs to turn out in force to show their appreciation and affection towards PC and his family, Thursday's the day. Again the irony of the good news of PC's nephew extending his Warrington contract is tempered with the sad news that he is taking time off. As one who has taken time off work in the past to help a loved one battle cancer I know that at times like this everything else fades into insignificance. My thoughts and prayers to Paul and Chris and all your family at this time & I hope the outcome is speedy and positive.
