The pub (The turf) is excellent. They have a courtyard at the back (which is great if you get the good weather) which has it's own beer pumps.

The Wigan fans drunk the pub dry. A great day out.

What they don't mention is there's no draught beer in the away end but you can walk behind the sticks & see a steward who'll give you a raffle ticket to the Mold road end where the catering & bar facilities are similar to the HJ.

so can i get this right, the away end where the mAJORITY of the wire fans will be does not sell beer!

I recall a few weeks back a lady rang into GMR to complain about the state of the ladies loo's

I'm sure there were bottles of Carlsberg you could buy in the away end.
