Wouldn't it be great if supporters after the game could lay the fault of the defeat at the players, coach etc and not the officials.
Time and time again we see people on here blaming the referee or even worse accusing them deliberately of favouring the opposition and so enough is enough.
I propose we have a respect the referee weekend, where we accept every decision they make.

I dont condone the complete testicles thrown about over refs 'deliberately' favouring a particular team. But I'll only respect a a ref if he does a good job. They're full time and very inconsistent, ie, a rule applies one week but doesn't seem to the next. Especially at the play the ball. And its no good really!

I always thought that they were better when they were part time. Since they went full time the quality really seems to have dropped. Consistency is also a bigger problem since then too. |
