Following on from Irish Wire's thread about the staff in the shop viewtopic.php?f=21&t=457831
how about posting here any GOOD customer service / treatment etc call it what you will from any memebr of staff etc at the HJ.
(come on...everybody always quick to complain!)

| I've always found them good, we lost one of our season tickets at Wilderspool watching the U18's a couple of weeks ago and they were really helpful with finding it and we got it back within 2 days!

| I was there on Thursday morning when the shop should open at 9.00am. It eventually opened at 9.10am.

| Well, I have a positive tale for the club shop…
Just before the season started, I promised my 14 year old daughter the home and away shirt. We live in Manchester and set off to be there around 16:45.
However, we got stuck in traffic around Wilderspool at 16:50, with the shop set to shut at 17:00.
I phoned them to explain, and they were very sympathetic to our plight. I was told to go to reception as someone would be there to help – even though the shop itself would be closed by then.
We arrived at 17:15 – with an overheated car!! – but true to their word, a lady (I’m really sorry that I can’t remember her name) was there waiting. She took us into the back office where my daughter was able to try on the shirts and we ordered one home and one away.
She was nothing but very kind and helpful, and also showed us the Challenge Cup, even though we’d kept her back by more than 30 minutes.
I must acknowledge how they went right out of their way to help, which also avoided me a wasted journey of a 30 mile round trip.
In addition to this, they have occasionally put coach and game tickets aside – especially with exchanging my daughters season ticket voucher – to save us a long journey just to get her ticket for the next away game (although obviously we try and do it at the previous home game!!).

| I have something nice to say. I had put my home shirt in for replacement a couple of weeks ago due to the Big Storage logo cracking, they rang me today to let me know my replacement had arrived in a new batch of shirts they have received.
Went in and there was no queue, and they had my shirt ready in a bag, the bloke who served me was polite and also let me know that the coach I will be on will be parked behind the south stand.
The replacement home shirt is a lot better with the sponsors put into the material.

| Anyone who has ever worked in customer service will know that it is near enough impossible to please everyone all of the time. No one sets out to be awkward and unhelpful but sometimes the customer's demands and expectations can be difficult to meet. I have never found anyone involved with the club anything other than helpful and courteous.

| I always like going for a quick look in the club shop. The staff in there are always courteous. Its one shop where its not that bad queueing up.
I never heard of anybody having problems in there. Might pop in again soon.

| I have said it on here before,I have always found the staff in the club shop very helpful and always have a chat with them when in there.But was told it's because I' am a "out of towner"

| As I didn't buy a season ticket this year and have little to no interest in anything else the club shop sells I can safely say my dealings with them in 2010 have been first class.
Visits = none. Problems = none.
My views on the services received relating to previous season ticket purchases belong in a slightly more negatively toned thread than this one though.
