Gutted............I remember going to my first game as a 5 year old with my old man in the old second division playing York City standing in the East Stand. I remember going every week, the promotion, the Championship, the League Cup, the European Cup, the great players, Robertson, Birtles, Woodcock, Burns, Anderson, Shilton, followed by Pearce, Walker, Collymore, Nige and ultimately the sadness of the relegation and Cloughies retirment in the 90's.
Very dissapointed and a shame that the Super Reds wont be back in the Premiership.
All this before I ever moved to Warrington and discovered the joy of RL.
Now I'll just have to settle for CC and the GF.

Feel for Billy Davies, he's a great character and a superb manager, Forest were definatley up there this season and blew it IMO they should of finished second and been promoted along with Newcastle. Didn't they have an unbeaten away record for a long period of the season?
Having said that, i'm delighted for Ian Holloway, with average players and peanuts he has managed to get Blackpool ninety minutes away from the Premiership. I find it hard to imagen the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool visiting Bloomfield Road. I'd also like to point out that Blackpool were the favourites for relegation at the start of the season along with Plymouth.

I live in Qatar so its strictly telly and radio coverage for me apart from the couple of games I manage to catch when I'm back in the UK.
On the plus side I'm off to a Sportmans dinner tonight at Doha Rugby Club, guest speaker is Jiffy. It could be a late night.

Come on Cardiff. Everyone will want a ticket for Blackpool away but the capacity means we'll only get about 12-1500.
Cardiff away on the other hand will be much tastier.
