...... am stuck in Korea after business trip and a "victim" the volcano problem back home

was originally scheduled to depart Korea 23.55hrs 16th Seoul to Dubai then onwards to Manchester; now booked to depart midnight Monday Seoul > Dubai > Paris > Manchester but only if French airspace open!!

otherwise midnight Monday Seoul > Dubai > Athens > Madrid then overnight train to Lille then Eurostar and Virgin to Bank Quay!!

if Athens is closed ........ dont't even wanna go there!!

I will be home in time for Catalans match!!

I was supposed to fly Copenhagen to Manchester on Thursday night. Found out about the volcano on Thurday morning so decided to make a run for it.

Train from Malmo to Copenhagen
Train from Copenhagen to Hamburg then overnight
Train from Hamburg to Osnabruck
Train from Osnabruck to Amsterdam
Changed train as conductor told us to get a train to Rotterdam the Hook of Holland where we had a ferry booked
Train broke down
Taxi to Hook of Holland
Ferry to Harwich
Five hour drive home

Take yourself to O'Kims in Westin Chosun and watch the footie or go down to Itaewon

I'm not exactly stuck, but the busses are Sunday service.

My cousin is stuck in La Manga with college, already been out there for 3 weeks! Theyve been told it might be next weekend at the earliest to get a flight home.

To be fair I can think of worse place to be stuck than that part of Spain.

In Germany (near Hamburg) on business, was due to leave on Thurday evening to manchester....Cancelled.

Rebooked flight for Saturday morning to Healthrow where is was gonna get a train back to Warrington......Cancelled.

Now i've got a flight booked on Tuesday afternoon, so obviously missing todays match (good luck lads).

Although i gotta admit, it aint looking good. I do consider myself one of the lucky ones as i still have my hotel-paid for by the company (inc free wireless) and i'm not sleeping in the airport!!!!

wifes mate stuck in magaluff on a hen party , was due back 2day, but she bin told it will be at least 9days before they can get a flight home.

The the moment the wind is coming in from the north. Surely as soon as it exchanges to the usual south westerly direction the cloud will shift over the Arctic and Scandinavia.
