Any news on how long or if he is out?

Mathers put on his twitter earlier that he was going to pick him up to take him for a scan and that he was on crutches and in pain. Fingers crossed he's ok.

He has a fracture in his ankle by all accounts. I've got no idea about injuries or healing times etc but I guess it all depends on the extent of the fracture.

months rather than weeks from what Ive heard.....

That's cooper back in from his loan spell.

it's disappointing but comforting that we can be sure that we have the back up

If he's out for several weeks then surely it would be advisable to recall Cooper. A more than adequate replacement in my opinion and it's a bonus that he's been playing SL rugby over the past month or so.

If he's got a broken ankle why is Richie Mathers picking him up? He'd be better in an ambulance surely?
