Add to that a first half nilling against 'Quins, and only two points conceded in the first half against Salford - eight halves of rugby in ten games where we haven't conceded a try.
IMO this would be an amazing acheivement by any team and appears to have been overlooked by many in the media when they get on one about wigan and Huddersfields magnificent defenses. We have conceded fewer points than either of those teams, and done it without bending the rules almost to breaking point! |

It is a very good acheivement. I think we've had 5 halves. Saints, Hudds, Quins, Bradford and Hull KR. |

Reminds me of that 'Right Result Table' that football supporters used to clutch at.
Other than that, this whole second half nilling, for me, just shows how much better we've become mentally/physically under Smith. In so many games we would concede a few sloppy tries at the end, or we'd look out of steam for the last 15 minutes, but this year we take great pride in our defence and we're a true 80 minute side now, I believe. |
