Not sure what to call this topic, but I was wondering whether TS gave the guys instructions today to ping the ball about as much as they did, or....as was quoted in the paper this week, he gave them licence to 'play as they saw it' ?
We must have offloaded the ball more today than we did all last season !

Dont think I've ever seen Woody pop it out so much as today.

OK Quinns were dire, and missing many, but is this the freedom that has been given to the guys I wonder ?

Was also impressed with the way we NEVER took our foot off the gas, and we looked strong at the final whistle.
Mr Riley must be 10ft tall tonight, as the faith given him today spoke volumes in my opinion.

However, if this is a portent of the the way the season is going to go.....wow !

Paul Wood hasn't offloaded that many times in all his last 10 seasons put together.

I heard from a good source he said that if they didn't offload more they would have to listen to Jedward every week while they warmed up

....but they certainly weren't scared of no Harlequins yesterday

Not only that but we was solid in defence aswell, some big hits out there today, Harrison is a monster, Harlequins were definately dodging him all through the game, Bridge put a big hit on and won the ball back second half from there scrum (which i thought was the hit of the day).

The amount of time our defensive line put them 'Under Pressure' (for all you jedward fans out there) was unbelievable, they didnt know how to attack us.

Woody is leading table for offloads witgh 7 according to stats on Superleague website.

Woody looks like a completely different player, and a much better one at that - must be trying extra hard to get noticed in his testimonial year - long may it continue!!
