| So far tonight hand in first try few decent half breaks, Solo try in second to get England back in game, good support play for his second try an just then a great one on one tackle to stop the French scoring which then led to Hall scoring, not a bad night I do agree with what Carney said about him needing to boss that game more trouble is there a few out there who like to do that, am sure tonight will give him confidence for the next game should he play.

| Blimey. Only two tries? Three doesn't get you a game the following week!

| I would have picked Tomkins and I think he would have had a greater effect in the first half (and a better kicking game than mcguire or myler), but myler did great in the second half.
For me Myler and Mcguire are too similar, therefore i would play timkins or eastmond

| That was a harsh tackle on Myler, he swung a clenched fist at him, BUT he showed genuine upset about what he had done, he was upset stood near the ref, he knew he was going off and wanted to make sure Myler was ok.
Once he was told his fate he ran straight to Myler and shook his hand, which to me shows good sportmanship, and i can respect him for that, despite a disgraceful tackle on Myler.
Good performance from Myler though, He'll do well with us next season.

| What concerns about Myler is he doesn`t seem to take control of a game, yes he scored 2 tries tonight but he was supposed to be in the side ahead of Tomkins to lead the team around the pitch and organise, apart from one time when he gave an inside ball to Graham which was when Roby knocked on with the line begging i didn`t see Myler boss the game or lead them round the pitch with these organising skills that he is supposed to posesss.
Sinfield started slowly but as he got into the game he was the one that started to take control because it wasn`t coming from the half backs.
A good support player yes but isn`t that what McGuire is on the pitch for ? We lack any organisation in the half backs and someone to boss the game, we lack creativity and organisation at hooker and i`m not so sure we have a full back that is an attacking threat like the aussies have had for years and like the kiwis had with Webb in the past.
I just don`t see it with this England team, a great pack but it lacks a lot of organisation and a lot of out and out skill, i don`t think either centre is much of a threat at this level.

| He took his tries well.
Tony Smith picked him because of his organisation to take control of the game.
Did anyone see him organise?
He certainly did not take control of the game.
He went well and I stand by my judgement that Tomkins should of been picked.
Well done though to Richie Myler I think there was pressure to perform.

| Played his best rugby once the forwards got on top. ALL half backs need this.
Thought he had a good game. Well done Richie.

| Thought he had a decent second half, nothing outstanding but then nobody was. Certainly played better than McGuire.
Be interesting to see if Smith has the balls to go with Myler and Tomkins next week.

Mate that is the best post I have seen from a wire fan in a long time!
You are 100% correct.
It is down to McGuire and Sinny to take us around the pitch which I am sure they will do.
Tomkins is the best option by miles, what excuse does Tony Smith have next.
We need the most dangerous players out against aus, honestly Myler will not threaten them.

I thought McGuire did ok, we need him out there against Aus IMO, if we beat aus then play Myler and Tomkins against NZ for sure. I would be tempted next week to play one of them off the bench.
