Fair play to the man, he had a great season. Maybe if Morley gave you a big hit you wouldn't vote for him. Which is half the forwards in super league.

You could look at it in another way in why should a player who couldn't qualify for the play-offs be in with a chance, you can only paper over the cracks with the challenge cup for so long ,we were gash in the league all season bar a small part when smith took over we started bad and finished the same way we started.
Morley would have won it if we had finished in the top 3,his team mates let him down imo he was consistent all season just that everyone else under performed for the majority of the season !

It says something about Super League that out of three players shortlisted, two are 30 odd year old ex NRL players. When will we ever learn?

Well im sure Mr Cunningham or Mr Sinfield would have that opinion aswel come next saturday night, but to be voted player of the year by your fellow players is "the greatest award" you can get, so im sure Brett Hodgson wont be worrying about it. Fair awards for me, Brett MOS and Sam got young player.
