Will the club be doing copies of the final? My DVD player didnt record and although i can get it from the iplayer it isnt the best quality.

Im sure copies will be made available! If not im sure you will know a lot of people who recorded it and they can copy into a DVD for you

Will only be getting it if there's plenty of extra footage than what was shown on the Beeb - I'd like to think the club can get some of the celebration footage on the pitch from the broadcaster, and I'd like to see plenty of interviews with the players too. Could be a great DVD if they do the right job on it.

Comes out the 28th of this month and is the BBC's video feed and commentary.

Summary of the 2008 DVD, I imagine this will be similar;

- The Road to Wembley - A round-up of the best action on the road to Wembley, featuring the amateur teams in round one, all the way through to the titanic semi-final clash between Leeds Rhinos and the holders St Helens and the meeting of the outsiders, Hull FC versus Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

- Complete coverage of the 2008 Carnegie Challenge Cup Final between hat-trick chasing St Helens and the last side other than them to lift the trophy, Hull FC. Plus post-match reactions and all the trophy celebrations in full.

We had someone recording it with finger on the red button, at the ready, and it still took ages to switch over so we missed the team photo bit where the fireworks went off, they were already starting the walkaround when it caught up,

Damn final score.

I downloaded a copy yesterday, plus all the interviews via the red button after the game.

Been told by RAI of Champions to inform that the DVD and Wembley merchandise will be in the shop this week, with the programme next week.

That's a good price. The game is the only thing my V+ has failed to record in the couple of years or so that I have had it.

Well make sure you seed it, bean trying for a couple of days to download it but obviously people are not sharing, unless you know of a different place than me, but pretty much exhausted my search.

the club are doing a 2 disc dvd with 1 being the game and the other is a behind the scenes and interviews with the players before and after the game

That'll be the one for me, just no bloody way I can wait for it as a Crimbo pressy tho !!

When are they doing that and do you know how much?

They'll be waiting to see if they need to do a complete box set which will include the grand final.
