The bench is weak (in terms of prop forwards) - I'm surprised there is no Rau in the team (not that I'm that fussed about him).

Can't see why, if Higham is fit and Clarke isn't, why he'd start with Bridge at stand off and Vinnie at centre - I think he'd have to go with Bridge at centre, Monnas and Higham rotating at hooker/stand off in the same way as with Clarke, and have Vinnie off the bench as replacement hooker as in Barcelona.
Also, I doubt he'd leave Rah out and use McCarthy - I'm not his greatest fan, but they have a BIG pack, so we need his size, and he played him in the semi, so I don't think he'd leave him out of the final. |
