Just wondered if there are any official/unofficial plans for the sunday night. A friend of mine is a saints fan and when they won it last year the players went to a certain bar to drink with the fans, take photos, sign autographs etc.

It's be great to be able to do something like that, what ever the result.

Can't see anything officially being organised though as the club wouldn't want to be seen encouraging players to drink!!!!

Civic Reception at the Town Hall win or lose 5pm apparently, most of pubs in town won't allow rugby tops, Wetherspoons is the only one I know of.

What are everyone else's plans for sunday night then?? Bet most will be too rough from saturday

Weatherspoons, Lower Angel, Bulls Head and Wilkies have no problems with rugby tops.

Depends what type of pub or bar you want I suppose.

Last time I was out some lad pulled a stunner in chicago rock...blonde hair and lovely body she had. I was gutted as she was easily the prettiest girl in there.

I was in Friars Court the night of the semi-final and they weren't allowing people in with the shirt on apparently.

But now they're advertising that they're showing the final live. I'd like to know if they've suddenly changed their stance then, since all that the semi night consisted of was wire chants outside!

Or are they going to order anyone in a shirt to leave once the game has finished? Hmmm. I don't get it, why not let the town celebrate/comiserate as they wish? Hardly going to cause trouble is it.

Sounds like the town will be busy on sunday. None of my friends are rugby fans and aren't up for going out - looks like i'll be drinking alone

My usual after match pub is Porters so I'll be in there, no problems with rugby shirts in there just no trackie bottoms.
