Forgive my ignorance but would it not make sense for the replica shirts to be more in line with football tops? Obviously the same design as players jerseys but made out of much thinner, cooler and comfortable fabric rather than the stiff, hardwearing thick stuff they use now.
Apart from the fact that a lot of kids use them to play rugby in I can't really see a problem. Football tops are great to wear in summer and on holidays where as current RL tops are very uncomfortable on hot days. It's 'summer' rugby after all (British summer I know !)
On cold days most people wear something underneath anyway so that's not an issue.
This is only my oppinion but I'm interested to know other views.
PS glad to see they've sorted the supplier out.
