| at 32-26 when life didn't didn't look so rosy, with the players trudging back to halfway to restart (again) I'm gonna give every Warrington a massive, massive pat on the back. Everyone was off their seats, it was though collectively, everyone knew they had to lift the players, they needed us, and man alive, spine tingling.
I'm pretty certain from that set, Wigan knocked on, we got the ball and Briers did his thing.
I'm not one to overplay this '18th Man' thing, but yesterday, I thought there was a sort of, tangible moment when the crowd lifted the players and I was immensely proud to be a Warrington fan at that point.

| I think Lee also learnt from the KR game not to leave his drop goal too late and by getting it in early it forced Wigan into a '2 scores' mentality.
Not sure if it was fully planned as Monas seemed to delay a little,
Either way ....

| I agree about the 18th man but it was hard work. i have to admit that when Wigan got a roll on i was sat head in hands thinking what could have been. Once they got to within one score i forced myself to get up and chant, as did others around me. It must have lifted the players, The atmosphere was awesome and even now watching some of the vid's on youtube my hairs are on end

| That is best support we have shown for a while. Like you say JWP, the way the crowd were cheering them back to that restart seemed to give them belief that the game was still there to be won. I can barely talk this morning.

| I was sitting thinking we there was only going to be one winner at that point (and it wasn't us) but got off my seat with everyone else and the belief seemed to rise again; look at the chase from the restart to see how the players responded, Moz and Westwood were like men possessed.

0/10 for humour, -10/10 for sarcasm.
Must try harder.

Strange, I watched it again on the BBC when i got home from the game last night and i could hear us perfectly well.
Maybe you watched some dodgy none BBC coverage who had a mic stuck in the middle of the pie fans?

| By my Maths Warrington occupied 17 and a half of the 26 blocks in the stadium, which is 67% of the stadium, plus there was dozens of Warrington fans dotted around the Wigan section. I would say this was consistant with the noise throughout the match, apart from the 10 minutes Wigan believed they had a chance in the second half as the Warrington fans were quietly bricking themselves.
