For me it was Monas. Seemed to be the only player trying in the first half & played a full 80 mins @ hooker - tremendous!

Westwood had his best game for us for ages, Briers was terrific and I also thought that Carvell and Morley performed very well when they were on.

That high kick he collected in the first half with snow on it was immense, spoiled it in the 2nd half by knocking on near his own line mind. |

Briers was good, Carvell was excellent playing longer minutes as we didn't have Wood, I reckon Carvell must have played 65 mins. Westwood was back somewhere near his best.
All this said, Salford stank.
I'd give MOM to Carvell, I thought he was excellent.

Monaghan for me, Briers had an absolute shocking 1st half in all departments, Westwood was a solid performer and Carvell must be given credit for the amount of game time he endured.
