Who else got a parking ticket for parking on Lythgoes lane on Sat night?

When did they decide to change the rules for parking in this area? I've never had a problem until Saturday and wouldn't have any issues if they had bothered to warn people first.

Is anybody going to challenge the fine?

They can only fine you if it's either parked illegally or against the landowner's regulations. They don't have to warn you. Don't park where you shouldn't.

i know a great place to park for home games where you wont get a ticket and its onlt 10 mins from the ground....from the hospital head to the ground....you`ll see the old tyrol house hotel on your left..turn left into dalton ave..then turn right into gerrard ave.drive till the end till you see some bollards and park there...no parking restrictions and only 10 mins over the bridge..hope it helps.. or pm me cos i live near there.and you can park out side mine no cost and your car will be safe...trust me...sorry the tyrol is on your right....dalton ave is on your left

I noticed a number of cars with tickets as I was walking back after the game. The only reason I could dive is that they were parked half on the pavement or facing the opposite direction of the flow of traffic. Whatever the reason pretty petty IMO as they were not really causing a hazard to anyone. Some jobsworth highlighted a way of getting a few extra £ on a match night
