I thought we were in control for long periods of the game. The try by Carvell is one I will remember for a long time to come.

I thought Ben Harrison was superb, although he misread the odd tackle, he runs his blood to water for the team.

I think we need a decent kicker as our kicking game was poor.
I was disappointed that we let them run away with it in the end.
But time to lick our wounds and soldier on from this.

Cant agree that you were in control for "long periods" . You didnt deserve to lose by the scoreline you did , but Saints were the better side for the majority , and deserved to win imo

You were very lucky from the 30 minute mark to the 60 mark to get every possible 50:50. That gave you several repeat sets you possibly shouldn't have had and Carvell's try, which frankly was an absolute farce.

As ever getting the lead is the worst thing for you as you haven't got the leader on the field to kick on from there and as ever you stopped doing the things that had put you in the lead.

Agree on Harrison. Absolutely outstanding and a clear MOM.

Well it appears to me, that you are not giving Warrington any credit at all at 26-24 with not long to go, we were controlling things and I felt we could of and should've pushed on an won......

So to be honest I still stand by what I said we were in control for long periods of the game and it swung to youto be in control for short periods but when you had the ball you made it count that I cannot argue with. But you there for the taking today and we didn't finish off that killer blow....

So your opinion doesn't interest me to be honest, you can save it for your own forum, were I am sure they will agree with you in their unbaised way.

Haven't seen the stats but I think Wire had more possession but just lacked a cutting egde.

Dissapointing result.
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban. Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player. Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666 0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match". Therefore ZERO.
Give the girl her dummy back.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_18821.jpg

Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. (Winston Churchill):d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_40218.jpg

I thought you bossed us for large parts of the match tonight. It was gripping stuff and probably the final scoreline didn't really reflect just how tight that match was. Both teams gave away silly penalties (and both teams got away without suffering penalities on occasion too) and we decided to lose the ball on the tryline twice, which is inconvenient for us. I think the difference lay in the ability of the teams to maintain the intensity. You fell off slightly in the last 10 but we didn't. It's what got Wakefield last night against Leeds. Leeds and Saints do seem to be the only two teams that, when on form (and we were pretty much back to form tonight after a few weeks of truly awful play), can maintain that degree of intensity for the whole 80. Either it's mental fitness or physical fitness or a bit of both, I don't know. But I really do think that fundamentally that was the difference between us. It could have gone either way for most of that match, which made it both exciting and agonising to watch! (And I only watched it on TV)

They cheered the high tackle on Graham when he was hurt so i dont see why they complain about high tackles on the dire players!
