| That's the way I would read it. I know Briers will be on a fair bit, but how much is Paul Wood likely to be on?

| Essentially, it will be somewhere between staying at his current wage, thus allowing half of that figure to be spent elsehwere, or sign a 'double your money' contract that take up no extra room on the cap.

| Quite a significant change as previously for those with ten years service to the club, it was a pool of £50,000 split between any with 10 year service.
Could be worth it maybe.

| Why would you want to keep lee briers for another year, why not get a younger better version of him be it aussie NZ or British I couldn't care less where his replacement comes from but I would prefer him replaced and if Myler is coming I would prefer someone with experience at a high level Matt Orford would be my choice,If Briers was kept it would have to be on a pay as you play basis and on a reduced contract ,I however already think (or should i say hope ) he has signed for Barrow! Lee has been a good servant to the club but he is past his best now and needs replacing sooner rather than later !

| Will people stop saying Matt Orford.
He is older than Briers.
He is a quality player, no debating but why get him at 31.
Also if we are to get Richie Myler as many people believe, we would have both half back positioins filled my oompa loompa's.

Its still that bbc havent put the bottom line in, its 50% of salary if on less than 100k, 50k max per club not player.

If we were to sign Myler Matt Orfords experience and know how would help improve Mylers allround game be it for only 2 or 3 seasons but it would be worth it,if Briers and Monnas both leave we will need 2 half backs and seeing as Monnas has been given permission to speak to NRL clubs it seems he wants out !

Not worth it then. Be much better to start a new chapter at Warrington, without the Briers' factor.
