Agreed! Kwik Fit could sneak in and snatch him from under the nose of Halfords and our good selves in the blink of an eye! The club should offer him a better deal to ensure he stays, maybe Saturday mornings in the club shop should swing it!

I know that IF my lad is good enough to sign for a SL club when he's old enough, then until he is a regular first teamer (and maybe beyond) I would encourage him as much as I could to use his spare time to further his education and gain as much real life work experience as he possibley can. Any additional money he might earn would be a bonus.

If I was involved at the club, I would actively encourage the junior players to do the same.
