I am coming down to the game on Sunday with my eldest. the two little ones want to go off and do something with their mum. Is there anything close by to warrington they could go to



Not really interested in soft play as they can do that up here . anyone got any ideas

Gullivers World, they'll love it. You won't at £12 each, but it's pretty good. Literally 5-10 mins from the H&J too. Oh, it's a kids theme park by the way.

Depending on the age of your children there is a playhouse situated behind the HJ, Age 3-8 approx. its just behind the South Stand.

quite a few cars getting parking tickets there these days ...... supposedly blocking the footpath

As long as the weather is good they'll enjoy Walton Gardens, decent slides / swings etc, kids zoo, (sometimes) bouncy castle thing, crazy golf, loads of space to play.

The kids zoo at Walton Gardens is very good.

Walton Gardens without a shadow of a doubt. get yerself to the Stretton fox for a bit of scram too.

Wally gardens (Walton hall and gardens). I used to take my kids every week when they were young. Childrens Zoo, crazy golf, swings etc.

Watch out for the car park. You have to pay and enter the numbers of your reg so you can't pass your ticket to anyine when you are leaving, and don't park over any lines-you will be fined.

Walton gardens perfect on a sunny day. Expect it to be busy though.

There is usually space next to the canal or on the nearby roads, well, ive never had a problem in a lot of years.

I highly recommend Fun2B - you're pretty much next to the maud and kids while you're at the match; the kids will love it and the little lady can sit down for a couple of hours with a book and a cup of coffee. Everyone's a winner.

Stockley Farm is very good, you could spend all day there if its nice weather.

Stay away from Applejacks though, its rubbish.

The Hollow Tree is good if you have kids, it has an indoor play area and out door play area when the weather is good. Food is 2-4-1 every day and is ok. And for the adults you can have a beer or whatever tickles your fancy.

Stretton Fox has nicer food but its more expensive and there is no play areas for the kids.

Although it is going to cost me about £4000 as the wife has said that we can link it in with visiting Pine Kitchen workshops in Northwhich to get a new kitchen made.

tell her pine kitchen has shut down just as you get to Wally Gardens, it'll save you a fortune
