Right, i've finally got to the end of my tether.....used to be a regular poster on here 2000-2005, when the forum started to slide into being a bit of a joke. These days its an absolute farce. Every other thread is dragged into a slanging match between memebers who exist/don't exist/using another name, can't you see that you're turning what was once an excellent forum into a pile of cack? Some members on here that i remember from the past, are the same ones who used to make this forum excellent, must be feeling the same as i am....Chester, SEB, Catsmith etc... These days i just tend to watch the forum as opposed to posting. Can't we do something about this, as its ruining my and surely others enjoyment?

Funnily enough have just reached the same conclusion myself. And have posted on another thread I'm going to start taking action. I'm sick and tired of wasting my time reading lots of irrelevant nonsense and arguing.

If I may appraise the moderation process, can a little more ruthlessness become the norm. Can IP addresses be blocked, may I suggest it being done?

Not at all, although i know who SEB and Catsmith are if is saw them, i don't know anyone on here personally. Just referring to names that have remained consistant from the early days. I lost all my previous details in the big server change thing, and its actually since then, that the idiots have jumped on board.

im sorry i thought the whole point of forums was to speak about anything to do with anything in this case its warrington wolves. wire are clearly underperforming and fans aint happy if they wanna slag the team off then so be it. i like some posts on here i hate some posts on here thats the whole point or so i thought???

First things first the AUP needs re-writing and needs to include a set of rules that everybody should play by.

Because of the current AUP rules i can't proceed into saying what should be done next.

I have no problems with opinions/slagging off as such, thats what open forums are for, but some threads are so pointless, or derailed to such a point that it becomes a joke. I really do wonder what people get out of posting on forums just to wind people up. Its clearly the problem with letting any idiot on the internet. What can be done as SEB and Lefty have said, is for things to be altered, and idiots barred.
