Sounds like all the talk about Gleeson wanting to play for his home town club is only a small part of the puzzle, the big piece is the much improved contract Wigan have dangled in front of him.

i think he's been doing a good job so far so if he says he's got a lot more in the tank then can't wait to see him pull it out!

Another good interview, but more importantly another player with the right attitude. Liked the talk around having the right attitude and about being harder on each other during training.

i get the impression that from a number of these interviews that we have trained poorly for some time. This is their job and I know we all have off days but the guys need to work hard and treat the club and themselves professionally. Lets hope the likes of Smith, Higham and PJ instill the right attitude across the board.

Watching the Gleece interview I couldn't help but notice how small he looked. When he arrived at the Wire I met him at a function and he was huge. Comments from the Manly team about the loss is physicallity of Monas and Hicks also points to the fact that the club have a long way to go still.
