I was thinking the same thing. Briers is someone who has stayed with the club, through thick and thin and had a testimonial at the club. To stay at the top as long as he has takes real commitment and work.

To be honest, there is something about him that just doesn't click for me. I've said before on here for a couple of years that I just can't see Wire doing anything while he's still with you.

that's irrelevant to him deserving a good send off and to the brilliant service he has given to the club if you can't see that then you need to rethink your attitude mate
we are warrington fans, he has spent pretty much all his career here, broken all sorts of club records, entertained us week in week out
regardless of whether or not he is right for the club anymore he will go down as a warrington legend... anyone who thinks anything else should be ashamed of themselves in my opinion |
