when i was in Barcelona airport wearing my Wire shirt, a German fella came up to me wearing a wire top from a few years ago, not sure what he said apart from varrington

I believe it was Vladivar who put the V into Varrington.

south wales when i was there. there was a welsh guy wearing a wire shirt who i got talking to. he had never been to watch the wire but supported them.

also in cornwall i had a german guy asking me where i got my skirt from oviously on about my wire shirt.

Various gigs/festivals all over the country, a group and Leeds and Wire fans at a bar in Turkey about 5 years ago.

when i went to watch ian brown in llandudno i had my wire shirt on. at the start of the gig mr brown looked at me pointed and kissed his shirt where a badge would of been and pointed at me.

A good friend of mine met his future wife by them both wearing Wires tops whilst on holiday (Spain I think), it lead them to introduce themselves to one another, and it went on from there...

Not that far away but I try and wear mine around Middlesbrough and Stockton.

I play football on a lunch time with work and if people don't bring dark shirts I always try and get them to wear a spare Warrington shirt that i bring along.

On a beach in spain i was lying there with the black one on stopping myself from being burnt to a crisp when the people next to me sat down they were wearing the home one. Felt like home for bit!
