| I love how our defence has shored up without him in the team, he was clearly the sole reason we were leaking so many points. I will also point out that our attack looks flat and lacking creativity and pace.
Bring back Penny

| To be fair though Mark, plenty of fans on here wanted him dropping, and hinted that he was the reason we were losing games.
What are their thoughts now?
There are big issues within the team structure, and this is why I am not of the opinion that mass changes next week will make a difference. THese players need to be worked with.
FWIW, I agree 100% about Penny, he should certainly be in there.

| Their thoughts are still:
"for every try he scores he personally lets in 3"
you cant talk to people with dog pooh for brains i'm afraid....
they'll be saying we should be getting wingers like the boy Ainscough from wigan whos defensively crap as any winger ive seen but he runs like Jason Robinson according to Eddie Hemmings so he must be brilliant

| He played in the academy game yesterday and he didnt seem interested at all.
he didnt make any breaks that i remember and his defence seemed lacklustre.
Reilly had a similar game with plenty of dropped ball
I don't think you would have fared any better with either of these two in the main team

| The stuff about Penny letting in tries is utter garbage. Look at the last several years and you will see that the top tryscorers in super league are almost always wingers. Gardner, Murphy, Donald, Vainikolo, even Faafili topped the list. This would imply that most tries are scored out wide. Do you think Gardner or Donald are blamed every time a try is scored on their side of the pitch? The lad is one of the most natural finishers i have seen and I cannot believe we ever got on his back. After the Castleford hammering away last year, I went into work on the Monday and a bloke (who never went to the game) said 'That Penny is crap'. He hadn't even played and some idiots were still blaming him.
