| I am not aware of any SL coaches living outside of their immediate areas of work...
I am also not suggesting this could be a problem althougth surely to gain support from the LOCAL community & true supporters etc & also to gain respect for actually proving that they care about their place of work it is only correct they care about their employment...
One can always 'go home' at the end of each session.
I hope I am wrong.
It wouldn't happen else where......... would it?

| It's only an hour away. I travel an hour each morning to get into work. He isn't living in France or anything.
If he is travelling on the train, that time can be used to plan the day's sessions.

| Hour on train isnt far. However its not too close that he may become 'pally' with the players, good to keep a distance professionally.
A problem could arise when half the players live near/in bradford and half live this side of the penninnes?

| The 'OP' stated immediate area, though, to which I'd assume perhaps a ten-twenty mile radius of a coach's place of work (the stadium).

McNamara lives in Hull and I think Richard Agar lives in Featherstone so both have a commute of 50+miles.

Well sort of, he lives in one of the villages in South Kirklees heading towards Holmfirth of Last of the Summer Wine fame. My mate used to live in the same village before he shacked up with a Leeds lass.

| I used to live in Liverpool and work in Birmingham. Whether I let the train take the strain or I braved the M6 it was a nightmare, but I dealt with it as I knew it was only for 12 months so not worth the hassle of moving.
I guess lowes feels the same way.

No but imagine how many times he's fallen asleep on the train, and ended up in Newcastle or Sunderland.
Sometimes he has a slumber party with Briers and King, where they all secretly plot the downfall of Warrington Rugby League Football Club.

| Not entirely sure where Des Hasler lives but on Sky Stevo mentioned he has to fly over to Manly and spend four days with the team training, he then returns home and fly's back for the game.
Now that's distance.
