Hayes was a broken ankle right? Not an ACL? He should be comfortably fit for the start of pre season as far as I know, but the point stands that it’s a big injury to come back from and he’ll need some time to get up to speed.

For me the margin was quite pronounced in the first half. Our pack was battered, coupled with the usual poor territorial kicking, we struggled with field position. |

I don’t believe our pack is ever truly battered….it looks to me like we play a rope-a-dope style against the good sides and hang in there and pick teams off. We SHOULD have picked HKR off and had Thewlis made it even then there was only one winner….but alas we didn’t.
