19221.jpg SALFORD CITY REDS
CAUTION
Supporting Salford City Reds can seriously damage your health
WOOLSTON ROVERS ARLFC:19221.jpg |

| Quote: Steve Ella's Beard "Exactly the point i was trying to make, the whole thing is totally ridiculous, they don't even play in the same way, and they're all the future of England backs, [size[iand i'd really like to see Ratchford get involved soon as well.'" [/i[/size
So Smith can tell him, he'll get a regular England place, but only if he joins a bigger club, like, oh I don't know, Warrington, maybe. No that could be seen as an illegal approach, and Smith wouldn't dream of doing that, now would he?
I don't want anyone thinking that's what happened with Myler, though, he got his place in the national team entirely on form ( despite not playing for months)

| You should all look on the bright side 4 up and coming young players.
Ratchford = Salford
Tomkins = Wigan
Myler = Warrington
Eastmond = St Helens
All from different clubs the future is bright.

we could argue until hell freezes over over who is better/who should play this weekend/who holds the key to beating the colonials, but at the end of the day we have 4 brilliant youngsters, the future is indeed bright!

Now all we need to do is find some centres , wingers and fullbacks to complement them.

I think there's a fair few around, they might not be 'top class', but many look to have potential. Top of my head ...
Hall, T.Briscoe, Wheeler, Dean, Riley, Penny, Lawrence, Cudjoe, Welham, Sharp, Owen, Ainscough, George, Atkins, Goulding.
I think with many of these, there's something raw to work with.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

The only ones that fill me with hope from that list are Hall and Cudjoe with potential to be international class.
Compare these to the likes of Hodges, Inglis, Folau, Hayne.... when they were that age.

| Tony Smith continues to show his bias towards Wire. He clearly picked Myler against France knowing it would be an easy run out, but now we're mixing it with the big boys he's keeping Myler safe and instead putting in Tomkins who'll take the battering. How biased can you get? Next thing he'll be putting Westwood on the bench so he only has to come on once the Aussies are knackered. Hang on, though...........................
