I hope its this, this is the season i really began to take notice and have a major interest in the Wire. I already knocked about following Wire and playing a bit but this is when it REALLY began for me. Hope the away ones the green and white one. If so im buying BOTH!

Pictures of the supporter's version is on website. I understand why the players versions don't have collars but the supporter's version actually looks better in my view - certainly better than last years'.

Away shirt is absolute class- conjours up memories of the old one from the 90's which had a wire effect on the red piping.

Only the home one has the full collar though, the away one is the same as the players version it seems.

The new kits been up on the UNofficial wolves Instagram page for weeks now.

We seem to have a replica kit again which isn't actually a replica of the teams kit . Should the club charge £45 for a kit which isn't a replica but is just similar !
I think my 94 replica kit may get worn a lot this season as I'm not a fan of being ripped off with something that's not what it says on the label !
If it was the same as the players kit there would be scorch marks where I would race to buy it but the fans version isn't worth £45 I'd say £25 at most !

Apart from the collar, what's the main differences from your view? Not being dim but I never notice these things until they are pointed out!

To me the collar just looks odd on the fans version of the home shirt, potentially it could have been a great replica shirt. I know you can buy the players versions but they are skin tight and cost around £70 so not many people will go down that route, you shouldn't have too to get a replica shirt. You should be able to buy one like people have done down the years, i'm not sure who at the club thinks that collars on a replica shirt is a great idea when the playing kit doesn't have one.

Is this an ISC thing where they attach collars to replica shirts where the players version doesn't have them ? It would be interesting to know how many other clubs who use ISC as their kit manufacturer have the same thing going on where the fans shirt differs from the actual playing shirt where a large collar has been added.

I wouldn't have hesitated in buying the home shirt if it was the same style as the playing one, its just i hate flappy collars. I'll be buying the away one though, both players versions look great and very Warrington like if that makes sense, they bring back memories of the Jonathon Davies era etc.

I think at Saints we have a fan's shirt and a player's shirt, but a collar hasn't been added to ours.

Is it cotton like 2010 or a fangled thing like last year? Not back in Warrington till Christmas.

The home looks better with the collar on IMO. In previous seasons I've agreed with you though and can't understand why it's done (if I'm being cynical it's maybe to sell more of the £70 shirts).

Regarding the home shirt and the collar and it not being a true replica,well the rip off will come when they start selling the players shirt which is usually £75 quid

Well seeing as we are paying good money for a kit I think we deserve value for money. whats winning a final got to do with it?

I like the home players top but dislike the collar on the fans top. Will wait and see what the away top is like before I buy.

What has the Challenge Cup got to do with the price of fish?

I really wish Warrington had a traditional kit which could just be tweaked every season or so. Hoops, chevrons, stripes... I know they have worn all these over the years, it just disappoints me that Wire don't have the same sort of iconic kit as say Saints.

I prefer the version with the collar, but can more than understand why people may groan as the tops aren't identical

Now that would be boring, you only have to look at the majority of Wigans home kits during the last century. Cherry and white hoops, the odd change in width of the hoops and sponsor. Why would fans spend good money each year on a new kit that looked similar to the previous years

Proper replica kits were available when Canterbury did our kit (no stupid collars!). Its seems that making shirts WITH collars is cheaper for ISC.

I prefer the home kit with the collar on. If they were the same as the players kit I would have gone for the away on but will be going for home one now.

tried it on yesterday, since starting with ISC I (as a 'solid' gentleman) have had to use the 2XL sizes, for a comfortable fit ie sleeves not being too restrictive.

The XL this year feels a lot roomier, 2XL wasn't a massive difference but, i think i'll probably get an XL this year,

however i'm waiting a few weeks to see what the complaints are like, as always. The sponsors label is stuck on again this year and we know how that peeled off on the 2010 shirts. Hopefully this wont have that issue.

The collars are put on to make it a more wearable product than a round ish neck top.
I think it is a good idea dont like round neck tops.
The styles are good, not sure if the pot belly will good in the home shirt, might distort the stripes
