it feels strange im happy but doesn't feel like last year

Last year was the end of a 19 year wait to get to Wembley, so the emotions, especially the relief/joy when the final whistle sounded v the Pies, were an absolute high. It was never going to feel the same going back just one year later. The final this year will be another matter: playing against the team who have dominated the SL for the last few years, a full house, and the chance to be the first ever Wire team to retain the challenge cup - that would be real history. For those of us who were there to see us fail to do this in 1974 and 1975, there's an extra dimension.

Think this years semi was a little flat for the build up etc. Last year was extra special as it was 19 years since we went to Wembley. The atmosphere at this years final will make up for that though with it being against Leeds

Doesn't feel the same as last year. In 2009 it was the 1st time we had got to a final since 1990 so it was all new, exciting & to be honest unreal as we had been crap for so long & lets face it last year we were generally poor (hence our league position).

This year feels more expected, like we deserve to be there.

I don't think anything could top last year, it was like an enormous emotional weight off my shoulders after thirty years of pain. The dynamic has now changed and I can now enjoy the success.

Bit different but still a great feeling waking up this morning thinking we are going back again!

You wait 19 odd years for a bus then 2 come at once

For me we're starting to feel like a genuine big club and top side this year, rather than a load of underachievers who have sneaked to Wembley a la last year.

I also believe that we can beat Leeds despite admitting that they are favourites, whereas after the semi last year I was sure we would be losing to Saints in the final until I got a pleasant shock the following day. Therefore it's better.

2009 was a truly great year for Warrington but it was probably just the start of something special. I truly believe that this years final could be the one we all dream about on Wembley mornings but very rarely (except 1985) get to see.

Finals are usually dull affairs with teams carrying injured players but I don't think that will happen this year.

As a Hull KR fan I say enjoy the day and I hope you and Leeds provide some classic entertainment in a couple of weeks time.

i dunno how i feel. think it's a bit of nervous and excited. nervous as we facing leeds and excited as we have a 50/50 chance of retaining the cup. tony smith shuld do a 'legends' speech before the game as it's not been done before.

wins were at a premium ,to get to wembley
was an achievement to win it was outstanding.

To be unbeaten in any competition for nearly 2
years is something to be proud of, to play
entertaining rugby as well is a bonus, that said
would settle for a scruffy win in the final than
a "classic" defeat.

Didn't feel anything like as excited yesterday as I did 12 months ago (both before and after the game). Partly I think this was due to the opposition being 'just another team' rather than a local rival, but mainly because last year was the first time in 19 years that we'd won a semi-final making it extra special.

Got my tickets this morning and am already more excited about the final than I was at this stage last year or at any stage about this years semi final.

Feels great to me, problem is I'm struggling to get to the ground to get any tickets. Can't go be before Thursday this week. Just hope we've got some left.

Got tickets in 504 from the RFL last year mate, in line with the try line, superb view, all Wire in there.

But depend on where you want to be in realation to the sticks
