Manly were class, but i'd like to say how well Lee Smith played. He was excellent and looked as though he would be able to hold his own in the nrl.

Yeh Lee Smith was excellent, i also thought Keith Senior looked strong in parts during that 2nd half and he caused Manly problems, its just a pitty we have such a poor left hand side as Ablett who is at right centre for them is a cart horse, touch wood that Webb aint back as that would mean that Lee Smith would be at right centre.

Made me realise how far removed from the top of the pile we are.

Really enjoyed that game tonight, some great hits, great tries and a couple of good punch-ups. I can see another mauling for us on Sunday, if Leeds play with half the intensity they played for spells tonight, its going to get very embarressing again for us.

Am I the only the one who thought the ref lost control of that game? Wasnt it the same ref at the Wire V Cats game who let all the high tackles go unpunished and then bam benny hits the guy into the middle of next week. The guy seems to let every thing go. Ok i enjoy watching the game for the big hits but only when there legal some of what both teams were doing was below belt.

He's not the best ref ever.

If Leeds had of won, then I could see us having an outside chance next week. As it is, from a Warrington point of view it's going to be ugly on and off the pitch.

An Australian side is more than a sum of it's parts as noted when we have imported players like King and Monaghan who without the benefit of the team around them have looked astonishingly poor.

The only way forward for Warrington is to build a team and stop trying to superimpose indiivduals onto a shaky foundation.

Ablett would struggle to get in our side, and thats saying something. Hopefully they will leave him there, and not bring Kallum Watkins or Gibson into the centres. If Burrow is out we have a slight chance, otherwise its going to be a long Sunday afternoon.

Might just have a sunday dinner at the in-laws instead.
