Its easier to stand out in a good team as a youngster - when the pressure is off and everyone isnt depending solely on you. Myler will come good next season when he is at a better club. Tompkins has only seen Wigan.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

I personally can see Myler doing very well next year but maybe only with his try scoring and making assists, the rest of his game may only come with experience.

Tomkins has proved on more than one occasion in big games that he has a great kicking game, long and short, his defence is superb for a young half-back and he gets stuck in as much as anyone else in our team. Tomkins has a great passing game also long and short. He is far from a one trick pony, he would of been found out by now.
Ratchford has the most complete game of all the young half backs.
Myler does not have as anywhere near as much experience as Tomkins IMO, maybe when he has he could be a better player, it is just too hard to tell with young players.
In other words, I slightly disagree. No need to attack though, its just an opinion

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Eh? This is Myler's second full season. Tomkins' first.

And do you not think it gets tiresome some of the enlightened visitors to the Wigan forum?
The whole thing is a real shame as there's some great Warrington posters on our boards who automatically get some flack because of a small number and it stifles debate completely.
Likewise I have a few people attack me on here regardless of what I say and no matter how much in support of your players or team it might be.
It's a two way thing and there's inflamation and attacks going on from both sides on both boards. Be nice if we could put the club colours aside and actually just talk about rugby.

Semi final away at Saints
Semi Final against Warrington
2 other derbies against saints
Home game against Leeds infront of 20,000
High pressure games for the race for the play-offs.
Castleford at home in the play-offs
Hull KR away in the play-offs
He has had to deal with the pressure all year of getting wigan out of trouble, playing in the halves for Wigan brings so much pressure from the fans.
Myler has nowhere near as much experience at the top level. None of Mylers games are as big as these really.
Even if in some of these games he has looked out of his depth like the semi at widnes, he will of learned alot from it, Myler has not had the oppertunity to play in games like this.
