23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

The difference is, there is a lot of broken play in SL, there isn't that freedom at International level, to excel at that level you need more in your nal than just a good change of direction.'" Raynor isn't slow and he couldn't catch Sam
Ron it's a team game did you not see my post saying 'if he's used right' other players need to make them gaps for him to go at he's scored 31 tries this season around 6-8 of them are from broken play (might be less) that is because he's used very well and the likes of Finch and Deacon draw players in and make space for him to go at
This is his first full season at fullback and he's having a blinder plus he's 22 over the next couple of years he's just going to get better it's quite scary

Yes I saw his try earlier today, not seeing what point you're trying to make...
That there are a lot of players like Sam in the NRL who have the pace and evasion skills to go 80 metres plus for fun... and he wouldn't be anything special in that league?
Plus that guy is absolutely rapid ( see him burn and then run down Jennings), not sure Sam would have the speed to go 80 metres against many NRL teams.

| No doubt though if he played for us he'd be excellent, quick, strong and best in the league?

No I just don't rate him that highly... I can quite happily say I think Hoffman, Finch and Lima have been the best signings in SL this season, and are all arguably the best players in their respective positions in the league.
I think Hoffman and Finch are an awesome combination, especially Finch flat ball to him at the line...

What! is that all, why make him one of our lower paid players, i hear he's quite good, surely we can offer him more than that?
