Quote Smiffy27="Smiffy27"I picked up a video of him scoring one & not scoring one (by touching the white line) whilst playing on the left wing for PNG. He has also played in the Nines Competition which suggests he quite enjoys space. Donkeys don't usually play in Nines Tournaments.

Didn’t Harvey Howard start as winger and became a prop?

Akauola started as a prop for us and ended up on the wing. I also recall Finau playing prop one week and then winger the next.

| Sita was a winger in the NRL as well on occasion I seem to remember.
Bullock was a winger too initially, Tony Clubb a centre.

| Going the other way…
Iestyn Harris was a sidestepping ball player prop as a kid.

That's true, but when he was quite young. Not in the academy

| Good luck to him. Some of our recent signings have been really good and contributed positively. Esp Yates and
Bateman.

| Just watched Russell play for PNG v Aus. I thought he was largely anonymous apart from 2 missed tackles that led directly to 2 Australian tries. Did not seem to get involved in the attack and did not go looking for the ball. 3 or 4 carries throughout the game for a starting 2nd row is poor. All in all a bit underwhelmed. I will give him the benefit of the doubt though because he won't have had any game time for quite a while and certainly not in 30deg heat against that standard of opposition.

| Saw most of it myself - not good at all, especially his defence. Losing Nicholson is looking an even bigger blow.

| Oh yeah just commented as on the rumours thread, i thought the same, only watched the highlights but saw 2 really poor failed tackles, and another bit where he missed a tackle, stood up then couldn't be bothered tracking back to help defend the line and they scored. My good feeling about him is fading away quickly

| Think the optimism needs to shift from Mark Roberts to Audrey Roberts.
