"move the big screen, suspend it on wires in thenorth west corner of the ground, so that you can walk underneath it, between the two stands, making it much more visable for most fans, not taking up any more room and complimenting the filled in corners when they are complete, and three pint glasses! a higher profile for squad builder on match days ie, flyers and tannoy annoucements pre & post match local pubs to put posters up advertising sqbuilder and monthly prizes for membership.
my favourite idea is, you know the camera placement in the east stand, when it's not being used for tv covarage, get bensons for beds to put a bed in that space and raffle the right to watch the match whilst in bed with free waitress service! i'd buy a ticket for that and turn up in my pj's for that! publicity all round !!'"
I'd pay to see that!

| With regards to the SB, it is something i have considered in the past but dont really know:
A)What my money goes towards.
B)What my membership brings to me benifits/commitments/responsibilities
Now, for the amount of money involved, i wouldn't be that fussed if the benifits that membership bring to me are very minimal if i knew that my money was a big benifit to the club.
It's kinda the same with the Supporters Trust, what is it and what do i get/do by being involved?
SEB, i know you're probably the man for these questions but if it is something i would really be keen on, and i imagine my dad (who i always have gone to games with since being small) could be sold on it easily too.

| Quote: Rob Wire "This is a constructive thread just to see how we could improve as a club both on and off the pitch, at the min were obviously doing the majority of things right but that doesn't stop you wanting to improve as a business.
1. I think the club shop should be bigger with a greater range of clothing, maybe a good range of NRL gear and international test shirts. The current shop is ok but its very small given how far we have progressed as a club, the way a lot of the things are laid out especially in the middle could be better.
At the end of the day any business relies on its revenue, i just think the club shop and merchandising could be improved quite a bit, in my experiences the staff have been fine though, polite with a smile etc
2. I don't know how the links are these days with the amatuer game but they didn't used to be the best, if thats improved then fair enough.
I'll just kick off with those 2, i'm sure people have their own opinions on how we can improve.'"
Winning the Super League.

There will be annual reports presented at tonight's AGM. If no-one else does it before I get chance, I'll put some of the highlights from them on here.

I hope the above (very quickly written!) snapshot goes someway to encouraging you and your dad and indeed everyone else reading this to give some consideration towards joining. Last night's AGM with a panel of Andy Gatcliffe, Ralph Rimmer and John Bastian provided excellent direct access to the people and issues at the top of our club and the game in general and lots of interesting stuff was discussed, including at least one bit of exclusive, excellent news. Hopefully a full report on last night will follow, I was only able to attend the first half.
I am always wary of writing stuff like this because I worry I'll miss something important out but Finsbury Wire asked some direct questions so I wanted to give something in return. We are thinking of starting a newsletter (something we have thought about before) - perhaps new or current members might be able to help out with things like that?
Any other questions just ask and me or one of the many other Trust board members will glady answer.

| Quote: Rob Wire "Squadbuilder comes across as being very formal where you want people to turn up to meetings etc, the average fan isn't into attending things like meetings and asking questions as again it sounds very formal.'"
Last night was our AGM - which I accept may sound formal. However, despite that title it most certainly was not. All fans had to do was wander into the room, take a seat (or visit the bar first!), and then be entertained and informed via exclusive access to people at the top of the club and the RFL. It was very relaxed and quite a few laughs in amongst the interesting information. If you want to ask a question you can, or you can write them down for others to ask or just listen to others ask questions.
It really should appeal to a wide section of our fans.

| The only issue I have is how much notice we're given for functions etc. I appreciate it that it's hard to organize etc. The one's I've attended have always been very enjoyable.

| Its main aim is to strengthen the bonds between Warrington Wolves and all the people of the Warrington area, and to promote the game of Rugby League as both a participation activity and a spectator sport at all levels.
I agree with everything that Steve has said above. On its initial inception that is what squadbuilder stood for. What it actually means is that any money will be used to develop the elite kids at each age group. No funding has to my knowledge in the last 2 or 3 years gone to any kind of community group to help increase participation or spectator levels.
Advertisment of what it actually does needs to be improved as does its mission statement. A record of where the money is being spent should be produced on a regular basis.

Not true, for example the Dance Team most recently, various amateur clubs in the past.We offered to help the ladies team but sadly that didn't progress for some reason.

It's usually a few weeks notice for the smaller events and usually much more for the bigger ones.

| Paying for the dance team isn't increasing participation in Rugby League. I know that they actively helped amatuer clubs on the schemes inception but not in the past 2 or 3 years to my knowledge.
Are the accounts published anywhere?

Really appreciate all of that SEB, definatley something I (and i'll sell my dad on it too) would like to take up. I have the form printed off from the SB site and will run it round to the club either at the weekend or next week. Once signed up, would be happy to help out with whatever I could
