As 77 states, its not about copying the Dallas Cowboys or creating a fall-back for Stringfellow rejects, its about getting youngsters involved in the club. OK, they may not be the best dancers in the world but at least they give it a go and then when they hang up their dancing shoes, continue to come back every game to support the team.

I agree with the last two posts. The earlier ones are childish, embarassing and very unfair on the youngsters concerned. The Foundation does great things in the community and should be encouraged, not mocked.

It's just an opinion I hold. If you find it childish then that's your opinion also. We're all entitled to one. And yes says I find it disturbing that children are being taught to dance in a sexy way in front of the south stand.

I'm sure the club can achieve all of their 'community club aims' by having the fusion dancers being the second stringers until they are old enough to make the move into the 1st team. Who could actually look professional.

Lollerskates - on page 1 you wanted the "sh*t" kids to be replaced with proper dancers. Now on page 2, after being hammered, you want those same kids to be replaced because you find it "disturbing". Subtle.

Absolutely. Jo Blythe lookalikes gyrating in front of the South Stand would be quite acceptable though, and would warm me up nicely during balmy summer rugby afternoons in February.

I am capable of disliking them for more than one reason you know. I do find it disturbing. But not nearly as much as as I detest their dancing and image.

I will confess I don't really pay much attention when they come out and do their jig etc, but I can't say I have ever seen anything crude/vulgar?

Neither do I. I think its great that the kids can be involved with the club. I would imagine it gives them quite a buz to dance in front of a sizeable audience. OK, its not a professional group, but we have watched school rugby at half time before haven't we, and that is not exactly SL standard. Good luck to them.

There's nothing vulgar. Basically a load of people at the start of this thread would rather the club pay for fitties to dance rather than use volunteers. When they were challenged, some decided to pretend that the only reason they objected was because they were appalled the volunteers, mostly young girls, were being asked to dance seductively. Incredibly transparent.

We ought to keep Fusion but augment it with the best HT entertainment ever....The Dizzy Stick.
