I doubt that Fox Sports in Aus will be showing the game. I doubt there will be even radio coverage.

Dont think so, cant find any mention of it on wire fm website. Hoping for someone in Aus to take pity on us and send details of a local radio station or somebody to stream it over the internet. Mike and Joel's mum, if you are reading this please take pity of us brits and send us some video of the boys playing in the sunshine.

It isn't me. The person lives in Aus and follows Wire and will be attending the game.

It's hardly the return to Redfern Oval though is it. Souths have played there before. If Warrington were playing Souths over here do you think they'd play at Wilderspool?

no your right again there is simply no arguing with you, they've only been calling it ( the pre season fixture) the [ureturn to Redfern[/u for about the last four years.......
I take it you've seen Souths play in the ANZ stadium for an NRL game ??
usually there are around 70,000 spare seats so I think as a warm up game against a team from a league they dont care much for, playing in a 5k stadium is about right....

If Wilderspool was redeveloped and modernised as a training facility and could hold 5,000 speccies, surely it would make sense to play a pre season game there, call it the return to wilderspool sell tickets firstly to season ticket holders then on general sale, have it sell out and turn a normally boring 3.5k attended game in an empty and half shut stadium into a tremendous piece of marketing and nostalgia once in a life time etc etc game at the former 100 year home of one of the founder members of the Northern union. ????
