Ps did anyone else read the BBC match report talking about Saints' injury issues. Only Feldt and the human Blimp Hurrell  and the young lad missing through injury? And they wouldn't play Hurrell and Robertson together anyway?

Only down side to last nights victory was the injuries and HIA's which will come at quite a cost. Sneyd out for several weeks i presume. Ashton will miss the Wigan game which will cost us at least 1 try in a game as he is that prolific. Fitzgibbon issue with a finger? possibly out or maybe strapped up for Wigan. Add that to Williams, Hayes, Wrench, Lindop already out. Are we already accepting that next week would be a miracle? 
What was good to see from me was that when Sneyd went off we actually did rather well with Walker and Currie at half backs. We kind of threw the text book out of the window and threw the ball around a bit which caused Saints more problems that they expected. 

I see Sky have their new favourite in Whitby as well. 

I thought Rodrick Tai was pretty special in defence yesterday. Some very big hits.

Yes he was, and he seems a very likeable squad member. 


Thewlis did really well in setting up his try. 

Wellens coaching is questionable but his selection/recruitment is terrible. Sailor, Bennison, Sambou, Murphy, Whitley are all bang average. 
OTOH Wire pleasantly surprised me in adversity; Currie seems to be developing into the player I thought he was going to be 10 years ago, but with better hands.

Would Saints have scored last night without Percival? He was their best player.

Am I right in thinking that after Rod banged Percival he quickly switched sides and went on their right?

Just watched the game back. Wilkin as selected viewing, the Percival no try was correct. If you watch the build up he grabs Ashton?s shirt first and is keeping him from getting close, the grab by Ashton was right at the end of the play when both players were going to ground. If anything there was a shout for penalty to us for preventing Ashton getting to the ball. Walmsley and Welsby both asking for a penalty try lol.

I heard Welsby instructing the ref on a penalty try. What a melt. 


Wilkins bias at the end was rediculous. 

Dear Mr Nigel Wood, would you please be awfully kind enough to rearrange the super league fixture list, for the remainder of the season, so that we can play St Helens every week.
