Quote: Latchford Wolvesfan "Just to get this straight, are you saying that Carvell and Graham are possibly the best two props in World RL at the moment
According to the statistics Graham is head and shoulders above any other front row forward in northern hemisphere RL. Averaging (per game) 190 meters, 2.5 tackle busts, 24 tackles, miss tackle rate of < 3.8%, < 0.7 errors, and < 0.3 penalties.
527 carries makes him top of the stats nearly 30% more than 2nd placed Peacock, also top of the meters stats with 3805, again, 30% more than Peacock. He is also averaging close on a try every 3 games.

Depends how you look at it, Carvell makes more yards per carry for example.

Indeed he does, and I am not criticising Carvell by any means. But given a choice between them for the Wire jersey and I would go for Graham in a heartbeat.

| Benny Westwood for me. Never stopped running and deserved his standing ovation when he came off.

Shane Tronc, Roy Asotasi, Steve Price, Moimoi and in England i would personally put Morley ahead of him due to his better defensive capabilities.

What about Luke Douglas, Luke Stuart, Nathan Cayless
Seriously there's a dozen Australians you could put before Carvell.

There's not, there's maybe a handful. Obviously it's a tough comparison as without seeing him in the NRL (Where I think he'd do well), and how many props from there have come here & been gash etc, Ryles, Rauhihi and god knows how many haven't lived upto the billing.
Nathan Cayless, he didn't tear up SL did he ?
For a prop to shine in SL is difficult really, we're an offence based competition, but in a weird way, I think this is Carvells strength, he breaks the line, he play at the line (the ball he gave Briers on Sunday), he makes good gains, I think he's excellent.
For me, there's not too many around that are better than him. Jammer being the obvious one.
