I think he's been one of the best players we've had in a long time, not enough quality players around him and a constant lack of forward power every single year is a big issue. We rely on him too much to drag the team along all the time.
When he does go he goes with best wishes and i hope he does well over there again.

The only good thing and i say this loosely.. Williams leaving will free up a substantial amount of money we can use to strengthen the squad. Two problems i can see with that: 1. Will we find or have the quality halfback that Williams is. 2: Our recruitment is terrible so it wont be money well spent. Up the wire 

I dont think Williams has ever given us value for money.

I'm not even slightly bothered by him leaving. He goes down as just another bad decision in the failed 'galactico' recruitment strategy of our club.


Hopefully we will start to move away from that desperate model now.

It’s a 6 we need is there a case for Dufty to 6 and CTW to fullback next season and just cash in on Williams at the end of the season. Go bigger on forwards and a quality attacking centre. Just asking for a friend.

I am not a massive fan of it, it’s why I said is there a case. Our weakness for a long time as been in the forwards let’s not go throwing money at a replacement half.
