Will your drunken "mate" with the smoke bomb be giving it a miss too?
Jeez, some behaviour from a guy that bangs the drum about what a true fan is all about and how you go to all of the Warrington matches.

| How is it arrogant to question the value of this weekend's fixture? Neither team can be knocked out and both teams will play another home match during this play off series no matter what the result. The same applies to the Huddersfield V Wigan fixture.
The format is fundamentally flawed and that makes people think about how much they're prepared to spend attending.
I'm going, but I'd be more excited about it - regardless of opponent - if it was a genuine knock out fixture.

| So, what attendance are people expecting? I'd be surprised at more than 7000.

| It was about 10,000 V Saints in week one last year, but I reckon Leeds will bring less fans than Saints did and this doesn't have the "local rival" factor, so about 8,000 I reckon.

Challenge Cup games are genuine knock out games & very few turn up for them ,so i don't expect many next week either when it will be competitive .

| We've had people bleating on all season about how the normal season is just preparation for the play-offs, now we arrive at the play-offs and people now are whingeing on about the format, which they've known about all season. Ask the fans of those Clubs who didn't make the top 8 whether they're bothered about the format, I'm sure they would just be grateful to get in the 8 and maybe see a couple more games.
I'm driving over on Saturday morning and staying over with family. I wouldn't miss it for the world. It should be an absolute cracker of a game.

Same can be same about any home and away game this year.

| Its a professional business.
ask yourselves 'do you want a successful team?'
If I only wanna spend 80p on a loaf, I ain't gonna be eating a fresh soft Warburtons buttie for lunch.
likewise, spending 41p in asda won't purchase the soft strong and very very long Andrex feeling for my bottom.
After 4 decades of wire being in the wilderness, I'm humbled by the investment Simon Moran has made that brought success.
If paying a couple of $ more than our rivals each week is gonna continue our prominence to enjoy, then bring it on.
there are other things people can do for "free"
Free I'm afraid does not exist, somebody always pays!

May as well just give up the season ticket now.'"
As Hock has followed his wallet, sorry heart, I'll be renewing my Wire season ticket; I'll also go to the playoff knockout games when they start ..... but feel free to stand in the space I normally occupy on Saturday because I won't be there ......
Sorry for having an opinion, and sticking to it ....... hope your world full of people who only agree with you is a pleasant one ....

| Why does being a loyal supporter man that you have to go to every game regardless of distance and/or cost?
After 25 years loyal season ticket service travelling to home and away fixtures, I gave up and haven't stepped foot inside the HJ since. The capitulations in the playoffs in 2009 and 2010 made my mind up for me. Yes I miss it and boy did I miss a great season in 2011 .
Do I have the Wire at heart yes I do and I am firmly of the belief that its not the "taking part that counts its the winning"
Did I go to Wembley recently yes I did, I've only missed 1975 in my lifetime. Did I go to Old Trafford yes I did. Big Game Hunter - certainly.
Being a loyal supporter is not about your bank balance or your ability travel the Super League world in support its about your heart and where it lies.

You must be a more loyal supporter than I. I have missed three games all season home and away and am a north stand sth. However you attending the playoff game makes you loyal.

You would never have given it up anyway.
Quote: BogBrushHead "I'll also go to the playoff knockout games when they start.....'"
That's up to you. I look forward to the irony in the future when you decide to call someone for not going to a game......and you will do it.
Quote: BogBrushHead "but feel free to stand in the space I normally occupy on Saturday because I won't be there ......'"
No thanks. I dread to think where it is you stand. I have my own little space.
Quote: BogBrushHead "Sorry for having an opinion, and sticking to it .......'"
You can have as many opinions as you want, and you can stick to them as much as you want. That's entirely up to you.
Quote: BogBrushHead "hope your world full of people who only agree with you is a pleasant one ....'"
If the world is full of people that only agree with me, then I would be the last man standing. No-one agrees with me in anything I put on here, but I don't go crying about it, apologising for having an opinion etc. It's a forum, people are going to have different opinions and not always are they going to agree.
