Now, i've pointed this out before, people criticizing karl's (lack of) background, but we had a top level in multiple sports CEO there, plenty of experience who came in, left us in a fair bit of debt, didn't do much retaining our principle sponsor in fly emirates (though granted they were cutting down on sponsors) and almost ostracised every other sponsor partner because he didn't like all the different advert boards around the stadium.

Most of our CEOs since I've been a fan, have been pretty dismal overall. Gatcliffe was the sole exception. He was also the one who said least to the media and had a relatively low key public image. But he knew how to run the club well on and off the field. Him leaving us was a bit of a watershed moment like David Dein leaving Arsenal. We've never been the same since.

Don't know if he's on the board, but if he is he won't be sacked. Talking about the accountant. The way he's kept the club under the cap, with all the expensive signings, shows he's one man whose earned his keep. Think he's the longest serving official at the club.

Yep as far as I know, think his title is now Head of Finance.

The club accountant is the same used by SJM and he is stipulate that all dealings are correct.
It would look bad on his SJM promotions if Warrington Wolves accounts were cooked or crooked.
You can be sure that Warrington will never break the salary cap under our current owner.

Andy Gatcliffe can be seen at Warrington quite often. Seen him myself a couple of times going in the ground not on a match day since the cooling of C-19.

He was so low profile in the Media, that I doubt that I would recognise him, even if he walked past me
